Meet Our Professional Instructor and CEO

Michelle S. Yrigollen-Robbins, PhD

Dr. Robbins (as she is commonly known) is a Georgia certified court interpreter. Prior to becoming a certified interpreter, Michelle was a school teacher with experience in K-12, adult, and higher education. She was recognized by the U.S. National Educators Association for her excellence in teaching and has always been a passionate educator who brings her expertise into this training transforming a room into a dynamic learning experience. Michelle obtained a B.A. in social sciences from the University of Puerto Rico and an M.A. in Spanish language and literature from California State University, Fresno. Furthermore, she earned her PhD in educational policy studies from Georgia State University, Atlanta. She authored: An Interpreter's Guide to Financial Survival: 'Service'  as Key to Success which remains one of the most sold books in the field. Michelle also teaches for the Georgia Commission on Interpreters as an orientation instructor.
